KEITH BUTTERFIELD

Name:  Keith Butterfield, AKA "KB" or "BUTTER"
Age: 42
Born: In Southern California, lived as military child and moved all over the United States with Dad.
Years skating: Off and on since 1980.

Contest history:  In the early 1980's Keith won 16 out of 16 international amateur freestyle contest, turned pro and stayed in the top five in the world for two years before disappearing for 24 years.  Keith picked up skating again in July 2008 and is now doing contest, demos and jams for fun and a creative outlet.  Keith placed 3rd pro masters, 3rd pro division, 2nd pro battle and 3rd 360's last year in his first contest back to the scene.  Keith was inducted to the "Freestyle Hall Of Fame " in Oct 2008 with the World Freestyle Skateboard Association (WFSA).  Keith is also a board member and co founder of Armed Forces Skateboard association (AFSA).
Keith is a 1st Sgt in the United States Marine Corps and has been serving his Country for 19 years.  He is a father of three and a professional flatland skateboarder.  Keith recently returned home from 7 months in Iraq and was so hyped on having skateboarding in his life again that he even took a deck to Iraq.   There in the desert heat he practiced his craft and was able to create three flatland videos on a small platform during his down time.  Keith is well known for a trick he created in 1983 called the "Butterflip, " a trick that is still popular today.   Keith is a Christian man and is lead by the lord.  He enjoys mentoring the youth and does skate demos for youth groups all over Southern California;  such as the Boy Scouts, local high school events and church youth groups.  He gives his testimony, talks about self discipline, making good choices and what skateboarding and the military has done in his life.  He does tricks for the groups and then spends time teaching them tricks.  Keith enjoys writing articles and has recently had a few published in Concrete Wave Skateboarding Magazine.

  




GARY HOLL

Gary Holl skates just about everything; parks, pools, slalom, ditches,banks and of course Freestyle. During the early 80's Gary rode for Santa Cruz skateboards and was doing demos at Schools, Street Fairs, Conventions, skate shops and even rode in a Macy's May Day parade." ary makes the most of his free time by skating all weekend long and several nights during the week. Competing in slalom 2001-3, Gary found himself on the podium at many National events. With limited time to practice slalom (not easy to do at night) Gary spent most of 2004 focusing on Freestyle. In 2005 he won the WFSA California State Championship as part of the Santa Barbara Ocean Festival. Competing in the Masters at the 2007 World Freestyle Championship in Vancouver Canada, Gary took 1st place, on that same weekend he was crowned the 360 World Champion.

Gary founded, and is the current President, of a non-profit, Board Rescue, which donates skateboards and safety equipment to underprivileged and/or at-risk youth. You can visit them at boardrescue.org

FRANK LAVALLEE

Frank Lavallee lives in Montreal Canada and has been skateboarding For 7-8 years. Frank has devoted his life to riding his board beyond Just a passion- For him, it defines him. He loves the freedom it gives him. He started just after high school on a bet his parents made with him- "Pass all your exams and we'll buy you the board you want". Little did they know, he found his way of life on that board.  When Frank came back, he started by messin around with little tricks at first, and then noticed he was learning flatland freestyle tricks really fast and started devoting himself to the artform. Now, 4-5 years later he is doing about 60 demo's every summer including Van's Warped tour, Monster Truck Shows, Schools, Shops and where ever it's happening! Name: Joseph Flemke Residence: Baltimore, Maryland – born and raised. Age: 18 as of 2/7/2007.Years Skating: Since 2003, after seeing Rodney Mullen in THPS3. BRETT MOSER

Brett Moser lives in Springfield,Mo and has been skating for 7 years.  He started out skating street for 2 years until he met up with fellow freestyle skater Tim Byrne.  With Tims help and a little time Brett began to learn how to freestyle.  Brett enjoys the freedom that freestyle gives him, in that he can skate most places, without any ramps or rails.  For the past 3 years Brett has traveled the country with and action sports team called Real Encounter.  They spend up to 10 months of the year on the road performing for thousands each month.  Brett has also enjoys the challenge of skating blindfolded and hopes to take his skating to new levels mixing flip tricks, freestyle, manuals.  Bretts sponsors include : Sk8Kings, Khiro Skateboard Products, Oust Bearings, Freestyle Watches, Motortabs Hydration Supplement,  and Cali Dreams Skate Shop.

DARRYL GROGAN

Darryl Grogan-
Growing up in the 70's in Southern California, Grogan's exposure and appreciation for the arts came early through his parents, who would both later become teachers. By the mid to late 80's Darryl's interest in skateboarding began to grow and by the early to mid 90's he became known as a pro freestyle skateboarder, competing and doing demos in the US and
Europe. Bio: Currently living in Southern California, Darryl likes skating flatground and manuals the most and works on his own film projects in his spare time. He also works in the film industry filming and editing commercials and
industrial films for businesses in the LA area.

TERRY SYNNOTT

Terry Synnott performs as a Skateboarder in Cirque du Soleil 's new semi-permanent and seasonal residency show "Wintuk" at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

A Rhode Island native, Terry started skateboarding in 1985. Terry's sponsors include Decomposed Skateboards, OutLook Skateboards, Burley Wheels, Tracker Trucks, Oust Bearings, Fly Paper Griptape, DVS Shoes, and KHIRO SKATEBOARD PRODUCTS!!
